Screen door latch replacement - with a notch

I bought a new right hand screen door latch for my 2007 Freelander. The old latch was getting less 'springy'. I got a new one off Ebay for $15

https://www.ebay.com/itm/RV-Trailer-...53.m2749.l2649

It fit perfectly, except for a notch along the side of the latch where it bolts down on the door. The old one has a notch that clears the raised area where the screen part starts. With the new latch not having the notch, it doesn't have enough clearance when the outer/screen door is shut. I don't want to hack up a new latch if a 'notched' door latch is available. Any idea where I might find one?

Here's a photo to help with the part ID. It's hard to describe, easy to see.

FIXED!

After searching for a right hand latch with the correct notch, I came up with nothing. However, looking at the comments / reviews on Amazon, this problem is fairly common. A lot of Forest River RV's from the '00's had these latches on their Amerimax doors.

The solution is to take apart the old latch and the new latch, and switch the backing plates. Using the JR Products 10765 latch front with the old back, it fits perfectly. Each latch has 5 clips that you can release with a small flat tip screwdriver. The only part you have to worry about is the interior spring - don't let it get away. Press the parts together, and wa la! The screen door latch closes with authority now.

Here's the grafted parts, front and back.
