Shattered side window

We own a Sunseeker 3050S and the other day I found out that the side window above the sofa was shattered. I have no Idea how it happened. It may have been a flaw in the glass and broke when we shut the door due to pressure, I don't know. Has this happened to anyone and what is the best repair path to take. I called CW but they say I have to measure it and they will order one. They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks and approx 700 dollars. I would think they could look in a parts manual and order it form that but what do I know.

Thanks for any advice.

Pierre

Could you look into a glass shop just to replace the glass and not the whole window. Or they might be able to find a window cheaper. Anytime RV is put on front of something it seems to up the price. An outside source might be a better route

I tried Safelight autoglass and they won't do it. I'll be looking around.
