After a 8 week trip with (Little/No) Issues we arrive Home and open the Slide (Almost!). It ripped the steel hinges into and the (TINY/SHORT)screws in the (Plood/Paper covered particle board)! stayed in ! Most of the time these are the wood screws that fall out on their own! Door is Perfect! Hinges are DOA! Little wood putty and stain on the (Plood )area! Ordered the (Self closing Hinges) to put on all the Doors! Youroo!!
Had the same thing happen this summer, and like you the door was salvaged, hinges not so much. Luckily our "Plood" was not damaged so bad, and the new hinge covered up the battle scars. Easy fix, but still aggravates the crap out of me.

I had the wood moulding come off the slide a but as the lazboy chair moved forward and the handle caught it when opening. We came back on I69 from Goshen, just pounded it back on. Now i check the slide when going out after travel. We hit i69 on Wednesday again for a short jaunt to Frankenmeuth.
