Solera Solera Adjustable Pitch Awning Rises Itself Back Up

I have a Solera Electric awning. If I adjust the pitch on the end near the front of the trailer, it stays were I put it. The one to the rear, however, just rises back up -as if the strut is just too strong. I tightened the bolt at the joint of the articulating arm, which seemed to help a bit. If it was the other end, I would be OK with it. I prefer to lower the end at the rear of the trailer for water run off etc (also lowering the front too much catches the door). Is there another adjustment? Should I swap the struts?

I have so much Faith in this "Design" that I would install Poles! When the Wind Blows the arms Return to Original Deployed Location anyway, causing a person to "Readjust" anyway! Poles and enjoy your awning area in Rain and Wind! Youroo!!
