Storage Bay Door Problem

Today I took my 2004 Georgetown out of the garage where I had all four spings replaced -- and it does ride better now -- only to find out that at leat two the driver side storage bay doors didn't operate properly.

Upon closer inspection I found out that all the door hinges are attached to the same part -- some sort of a railing probably -- and that the railing has become lose, no longer solidly attached to the main frame.
I guess it's not a big deal to either replace or repair that railing, but the screws holding it in place are covered by some kind of molding (plastic?), and I can't see how this molding is removed (sliding it out or popping it out).

I include 3 pictures to try and clarify what I mean. The first pic shows a general view of the location, The second shows a closer look at the "molding" itself, and the third shows a close-up of the "railing" hidden by the molding. As you can see, a gap has developped.

Any suggestion is welcome.
