tip arm a&e power awning

did anyone receive "tip arm" from a&e and if so did it work well and how hard was it to put on? thanks

Yes I got one and it works great. One person can put it on but two people are really required to make it alot eaisier.

I have one- also known as the A&E/Dometic awning repair for power awnings with the proper serial/model numbers. We LOVE our power awning now, after the fix, if you leave the black knob loose, it automatically dumps the water off, without a need to tilt the fabric to the side, like most manual awnings! AND, if youy still want to tilt it as a manual unit, just pull it down, and tighten the black knob! Easy install too, but as stated above, you'll need an assistant to help you install the new arm, because it gets pretty heavy holding it! GOOD LUCK! Randy

yes im glad i found out about it here i agree it does work and 2 people can do it in a short amount of time .
