Vinyl vs. Acrylic Awning - Which is better?

Looking for recommendations for awning replacement fabric. I'm looking for something that won't stretch and seams that won't rip so easily.

Also where to buy?

i really can't comment too much. i just had to replace some slide toppers that were 6 years old. not because the fabric failed but the seams pulled out. i replaced with acrlylic fabric from stone vos. they have a 10 year warranty. but what i liked about the replacements was that both seams were double sewn, unlike the oem topper that only had one seam.
