Window weatherstripping

So, my 2018 Coachmen Chaparrel 360FL has this issue. The rubber around the windows appears to be shrinking and pulling away. Currently in about 6 different places. If you really work at it, you can get it close to going back into place, but it wonít stay. Whatís the fix?Click image for larger version

I don't have a good answer but am wondering if the rubber is a single piece. I'd consider pulling it out at the bottom and gluing in a short section of additional rubber. Even if the added piece didn't exactly match, if you centered it at the bottom (or top) it probably wouldn't be very noticeable. You could alternatively replace the entire gasket. The big box stores have a lot of choices of gasket materials https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rubber+wi...f=nb_sb_noss_2

I have the same issue on my 2018 chaparral. I have pulled it out and tried to fit it into the corner and it seems like it does not want to ďsnapĒ into place like it does on the long straight runs

Have you asked Christi at coachmen? She may be able to recommend a replacement part.

My dealer showed me how to pull a section and then pull/stretch the part that is out. You can get it back together tight at the seams but it takes some work. The corners are very hard. If they donít go back in at the same place the memory in the weatherstripping makes it difficult to get back in. Try not to pull the corners loose. I feel like overtime it would be best to replace them. Trying to see how mine hold up after doing this. Been a month or so and still looking good now.
