12 foot slide runs slower now

Just had an issue last time camping out found out the lippert slide out switch started sticking causing shore battery cables to become hot . Next time we took it out wouldn't work at all. I pulled the panel and switch was melted. Was able to cut wires and jump it to get slide out to work. Problem is I put new lippert switch in . The wire colors were reversed for in and out no problem correcting that but now I noticed my bunk house slide opens fine speed is normal and my slide I had the issue with runs really slow. Are these lippert switches amp sensitive. Does lippert make different switches that look alike. Thanks
