2011 21WRS Flagstaff - Bed/Slideout repair

Hello .. anyone with a similar issue?

The 21WRS has a king bed that slides out from the back. Later models put guide rails on both sides, makes sense! However, 2011 Doesn't and the side without rails has predictably sagged from vibrations, weight, etc and detached from the aluminum frame. Bed still is solid when extended, but I would like to fix re-attach the bed to box frame to prevent further issues.

I would like to lag or rivet from the bottom (outside) through the bottom of bed to the frame .. this isn't my rig, but where I would look to go through. Looks like it was simply connected with metal screws before it pulled away ..

Any thoughts or similar fixes implemented? Maybe not enough info, I can provide more pics later. Dealer wanted $5000 to fix .. basically re-build bed.

Thanks for any comments.

In case anyone looks to fix similar .. I simply used some self drilling screws, it is mostly for some support, still issues as the welds cracked on the frame aluminum .. but rigged up some support for it when slide comes in. Needed better design from the get go .. but awesome trailer!
