Thanks.....I read somewhere that you can move the slide out in and out by disconnecting the battery. If you have a power failure. Is this true.

It depends on which slideout system it is. Some have a manual crank feature. Schwintek system don't have a manual crank feature. You have to disconnect the motors and push the slideout.
