Post 2015 Rockwood Mini Lite Slide Issue.

Hi I have a 2015 Rockwood Mini Lite 2502KS, this last weekend we went to the beach and had a great time. When we went to bring the slide in as we were getting ready to pull out, the slide motor died as it reached the full in position. I was thinking Yes! no manual operation. In looking at it today checking the electrical underneath, The auto reset breaker under the front seems OK Although I didn't have someone there to press the switch and test for current on both sides. However, the button was not out and the wires looked ok. The battery disconnect seemed like it was in good working order, I disconnected shore power and ran the fans and furnace. All worked flawlessly. I know the furnace fan runs through the same breaker I believe. This leads me to the conclusion that the slide motor bit the dust. It turns freely, there was not electrical smell when it quit. I guess it could also be the switch.

What are your thoughts. I have one of those warranties where the RV techs come to you and fix the problem, I was thinking about calling those guys, but also it's not been quite a year yet, Not sure if that covers electrical parts though.

We have the 2016 Micro Lite 25 DKS which is the twin to your unit. We are coming up on a year of ownership and have already had one slide motor failure. In addition to the motor failure, we have had problems with slide gears turning and not making full contact with the gear channel. We lost two months of use of our camper while the dealer re-leveled everything. Needless to say, we are worried about failures.

It was just an inline 30 amp fuse that was tucked away in a good hiding spot. Thankfully the motor was fine. So it was a $2.99 fix.👀

I have a handle and did finish retracting mine, I even went camping 2 more times using manual in and out before taking it in to get looked at.

Update: there was a hidden fuse that I had not found. 1.99 30 amp fuse. They put a 40 Amp fuse back.
