2018 Prism EF slideout motor and structure problems

Hello I am a new member. We bought a new Prism Elite EF in Jan 2018. Worked great until beginning of October. Full slide out made grinding noise and wouldn't slide out. After waiting over a month for diagnosis and parts, a new motor was installed. This did not fix problem. Now diagnosed a structural problem with the column. Motorhome is still at dealer awaiting parts and repairs. It has been over 2 months since we have been able to use motorhome. Do not have a date when motorhome will be fixed. It is still under warranty till Jan. 6th. but by the time we get the motorhome back the warranty will most likely have expired. Very concerned about a structural problem on a new motorhome. Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

Dealers often lie to customers about part delays from manufacturers. I would contact Coachmen to verify if the dealer has even placed the order yet.

You also can use a independent RV shop or mobile RV technician for the warranty work.
You just have to get pre-approval from FR and be willing to be reimbursed.
