Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. What do you mean sticks? Does it stop or just seem to slow down if both are doing the same thing may just be the characteristic of the units.

If you’re close enough to your dealer.....go back and compare your slide operations with other Georgetown units. Maybe it’s the nature of the beast. You’ll only know if you see another in operation.

Also....it helps if you identify exactly what Georgetown you have. Saying 35’ Georgetown doesn’t tell us much.

The model of coach is is forest river Georgetown se 35’. When I hit toggle switch to retract slider the comes in at a angle and the top of slider will come in contact with celling of coach if I don’t release toggle . But if I put weight on the bottom bunk with my foot I can stop from tilting up. I know this is not normal operation of slider . I have sprayed gaskets with silicone and doesn’t seem to help.

Still don’t know what model you have.
Don’t know what year.
Is this a new motorhome or just new to you?
Clearly, you’re not supposed to have to touch the slide while the button is pushed, but how long has this problem been happening?

I see very few posts from you, so I’m guessing you’re new, but you need to help us to help you. There are different styles of slide mechanisms....electric, hydraulic, etc.

The coach is a 2007 Georgetown SE with hydraulic slides. I just got this unit last fall. The seemed to work fine when I looked it over at time of purchase. I did notice a small tilt when closing. I did ask previous owner about it and he said it had been that way sence he owned it . I am 3rd owner. I hope this helps and yes I am new to this forum.
