Above Floor slide not sliding

Figures that we pack the camper at home, close it up and tow it to the camp site for 4th of July (a week of camping) to find that our bedroom would not slide out.

We hear the motor running but no movement. So I checking wiring.. then can't seem to access the motor. Called Coachmen and spoke with their tech support who told me a must have missed a couple screws. Sure enough, they were really blended into the carpet. Anyways, he says to put a wrench on it and we can manually slide it open.

Well upon looking at the motor, where we would put a wrench on is spinning from the switch. I am a complete novice with slides but I am assuming something is stripped inside the motor since it is spinning and needs to have it replaced.

I took a video and posted on youtube if anyone wouldn't mind reviewing and confirming.

I searched the part number for the whole motor and seems I can get it for under $300. Just not sure how difficult it is to remove and reinstall as I couldn't figure out how it disconnects from the slide.

Thanks!!

Looks like you may have broken a shear pin search around and see if there isn't a place where there is a hole in the operating rod that lines up with the motor shaft.

I will have to look when temps cool down. been close to 100 degrees the past few days and refuse to go in there lol.

I'll post back what I find if anything. That would be fantastic if all I need is a new pin.
