Bed slide

We have a 2020 Hathaway 38 DBRK. This is a FYI for those that have a hydraulic slide system. What I found was saw dust on the floor when we went or came from camping at the foot of the bed. The board for the foot of the bed is held with screws on both sides, so I was able to remove it. What I found was that the paneling that covers the slide system, was sliding across the stationary frame for slide, thus scraping of wood every time slide was moved in or out. The panel only had 1 screw in it. My fix was to temporarily use 1 inch spacer. Put 5 screws on sides and foot board. Also put duct tape on metal frame for just in case. I also didn't like the sideways movement of the wood boxing/frame had, so I installed 2X4 wedges in corner of the sides and foot board to limit movement. Guess the camper was built on a Monday or Friday. LOL
