Bedroom slide floor - water damage and slide adjustment

The black trim around the exterior slide of our bedroom slide has been giving me problems. I believe the slide was adjusted to close to firmly, this was flexing the trim at the bottom. With every flex, the trim piece got looser. Eventually the caulk along the top started opening up and water started getting in behind the bottom trim piece.

I removed the corner trim pieces and cleaned off all the old caulk. The first thing I want to do is adjust the stop so it doesn't go in as firmly. Can someone get me started for a manual for the slide adjustment for this type of slide? I thought I found it at one point, but can't seem to track it down. What is this type of slide called?

Also, if you see the pictures, due to the water damage, the screws along the bottom of that black trim piece can't "grab" the bedroom floor in a few areas due to the water damage. I will need a new bedroom floor but want to at least get it patched up until that happens. Without those screws being able to "grab", the trim piece is a bit loose and I am not sure any new caulk will hold.

Thanks for any tips, especially with regard to the slide adjustments.

Ours looked better than yours.

With no warning our floor started delaminating. The layers of the plywood separated.

Fortunately we caught it in the in position so we could continue the trip just not using the slide. Inconvenient.

Was not a cheap repair. Our vendor used a solid material instead of plywood. Been good ever since. Under $2000.

Do not wait too long.

Update to my own post after digging in a bit.

I believe it's "above floor single rail" type slide. Probably lippert but not sure. At any rate, it didn't occur to me this just stops when the motor feels resistance. There are two "stop blocks" on the rail. Well, guess what... the morons that assemble these things didn't bother putting on the "in" stop block. It was sitting on the motor. So I believe the resistance the motor was feeling was the trim blocks compressing against the seals on the outside.

This is my first RV. Wish I would have checked this stuff because a simple 1 minute of work could have prevented all this.

Anyone else used these stop blocks to adjust the slide?

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Slideouts sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to Slideouts and not general questions.

There is a black rubber like substance behind some of these trims, is this lap sealant?
