Bottom Slide Roller Bent - How To Replace?

Discovered that one of my rollers on the bottom part of my rear slide has stripped out of the screw and is now bent outwards. Due to the angle, it's digging into the metal. After looking at the forums and youtube, it seems like the first step is definitely to remove the slide roller so it stops digging into the bottom of the slide.

1 - What are the risks of removing this if I cannot replace it right away?
2a - Seems like once I remove it, I should jack up the slide a little bit to create a gap?
2b - Seems like putting 2x4s under each end of the slide then jacking up a little is the best way to achieve this? What could I break here?
3 - Once jacked, install the new slide roll
4 - Lower jacks

Is this accurate? Any experience here?

You have a 2017 FR3? You probably need to post in that forum or get an administrator to move you to that forum where others with your unit can help. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about that slide.

I called my dealer and they agreed. Remove slide roller (which I was able to just pull out), jack up with 2x4s, then replace roller.

Sounds like you got good advice. Is it working yet?

I have the same issue with my 2016 Forester 3051S. How high can you safely jack up the slide?

When the slide skis (plates) are installed the slide is partially extended. People have built wooden jigs to go along the slide and then used multiple floor jacks to lift the jig and slide just an eight of an inch so they could slide the skis in place. Our dealer used a forklift.

If you have the slide fully in or out you may damage some trim as the slide angles.

For a roller replacement you are lifting the slide even less, just enough to take the weight off the roller.
