Question Definitely electrical!

OK. Remember a little while back I posted that our slides were behaving oddly? Well it is definitely an electrical issue!

Yesterday, after our guests left, I went out to clean up and close up the TT. They would not close. One acted like it was going to, but then stopped. It sounded like there was a short in a wire somewhere. Or like maybe it was trying to trip a breaker or something? I heard a clicking kind of noise coming from the breaker box area. As it is 462848647238 degrees outside, I didn't stay to look into it further.

Now. This thing is still under warranty. But we can't take it in to be fixed if we can't close the slides! I guess I'll wait till the weather cools off a bit and see what we can do . . . Or should I call a mobile RV repair person? Would Forest River reimburse something like this?

Bring them in manually, that is what they will tell you and take it to a dealer.

As mentioned, you can bring them in manually.
A mobile repair person could likely fix but be sure to get prior authorization from FR BEFORE the repairs are done.

Your slides are controlled by a circuit breaker?

Gotcha, but I was thinking due to the OP, they were referring to a 120 volt circuit breaker in the electrical panel.

Sorry for the late reply, Hurricane Harvey put us on hold.

The breaker didn't just operate the slides. It was also for the stabilizer jacks and something else, I don't remember.

Important thing is, it's fixed!
