Do I lube the slide cable?

I know this is forest river forum but I have been a member here for a while and my parents have a trailer that is a Crossroads Grand Reserve they recently got. Does the slide out cable need lubed up as routine maintenance? The slide operates on a cable mechanism. The motor is above the slide on the inside. If it does what is good to use? Also whats the best brand seal conditioner anyone recommends? Sorry I don't have a slide or ever owned one. Thank you

I have the same system and was told to use CRC Power Lube with PTFE.
