Electric Slide Out Override Crusader 355

I'm pretty sure one of my motors on my bedroom slide does not work and needs replacing. The slide is closed. From what I can see I need to open the slide a bit to get to the bad motor and replace it. What must I do to get the slide open? How do I override a bad electric slide motor so that I can open the slide?

Is it a Schwintek slide system?

I'm pretty sure it is. 2 electric motors, 1 on each side of the slide on the top track.

Then that should be a Schwintek system.
There are tons of troubleshooting videos online and on Lippert's website. You also might want to call their customer service.

I've googled and looked at several videos but not one mentions anything about getting the slide open when one of these little electric motors is dead. For new models the motors can be accessed from the interior without opening the slide but for mine (an older model 2012) access is gained from outside, thus the motor needs to be disengaged so the slide can be opened a bit. Still looking.....

Then you need to contact Lippert.
