FR3 30ds Main Slide issue

Main slide in our 2014 FR3 30ds goes out about 2/3 way then seems to drop (tips out) - makes a horrible noise then stops. Able to bring back in with no issue.
Motor was replaced one year ago.
Any ideas until we can get in for service?
Thought it may have been an excessive weight the slide issue, so we pulled everything off benches before operating but didn't help.
Cables top and bottom are taut, and there are no supports under slide.
We are full timing, and brought it in to where it is not tipping out (level) but lose about a foot of living space.
