Happijac microswitch replacement

Does anyone know how I get access to replace a micro switch on my 2014 Salem hemisphere lite bedroom slide? I can see and remove the two tiny screws but getting the switch out is a whole other matter. The only way I can see is to unscrew the frame from the floor and lift it up and I sure don't want to do that and risk the slide falling out or upsetting it's alignment. Has anyone ever changed one before? I have a defective switch or a pinched wire as no matter what position the switch is in it has full continuity. I have pictures but can't seem to upload them.
Thanks
Don

I have downloaded the installation instructions which has a great troubleshooting section but no help as to how you access the switch to replace it. It's inside the channel and I see no way of getting it out.

How do I upload pictures? Do I have to upload them to a third party site first which I don't have since photo bucket closed my account.

Use the phone app, which makes it easy or, in a desktop browser, use advanced mode and attach as files with the paper clip icon.

After uploading files, use your cursor and attach the files in specific locations, again using the paper clip icon. If you don't, they'll appear at the bottom.

In the one picture I drilled a hole in the bedframe thinking I might be able to access it from the top. No luck lolClick image for larger version

Update. I replaced the one defective limit switch and the tipout didn't move. Tried a new Rj11 cable and now the tipout goes out but will not come back in via the switch. I jumpered the contacts on the module with a paper clip as the troubleshooting guide from Happijac instructs but still the same. I can disconnect the power to the motor bypassing the brake and bring it in with my Dewalt drill easily. So I'm thinking maybe the module may be defective or the small circuit board on the back of the switch may be defective. The switch itself tests out perfect in both directions with a continuity tester. Any ideas?
