Help with LiftCo Glide Out seals
Hi all, we have a 2003 Coachmen Santana 316ks with the "super slide". We are wanting to replace the slide seals but it looks like nothing else I've seen online. Our coach uses the LiftCo Glide system which appears to be somewhat rare in the industry. It has arms on the front and rear of the slide room which essentially "scissors" with the room as it goes in and out. The slide still has wiper seals but because of these arms, there is almost no clearance at all. I don't think it would be possible to pull the old seals off (due to clearance and also because I don't think that it's on a track). I do notice there's a metal trim piece around the entirety of the slide which is secured by screws. Do I need to take this off to access the seals? The metal trim appears to be welding at each of the top corners so it seems like you'd have to remove both the front, top and back trim piece as one unit. This seems pretty cumbersome but I'm willing to do the work if that's the easiest way. Has anyone replaced seals on something like this? Owners manuals have not been helpful nor has the actual manuals for the LiftCo system. Thanks in advance!
