how close to wall should the slideout be

We have a 2020forest river Rockwood mini lite 2430ks. The slide goes out fine but is about 2" from wall ans 1" from white rubber seal. This is on the murphy bed side. Is this out all the way
Thanks
bob

A photo would be helpful. I don't have your model, but mine extends fully to the fixed interior wall and seal. Does yours stop with the clicking sound or are you stopping it? There is an automatic stop when extending and retracting.

That gap seems larger than it should be. Is it stopping as I had asked previous? There is a way to adjust but I'm uncertain how. May want to check with the dealer.

This is how you fix a Schwintek slide out:
https://store.lci1.com/blog/retiming...syncing-issues

To keep it synced and in time, whenever you run the slide out or in, once it stops keep holding the switch for about 5 seconds before you release it.

On the outside side of the slide, is the track solidly screwed to the side of the slide and metal with U-looking thingies? If so, it's a Schwintek.

If it's a plastic-looking rail with pronounced vertical gear teeth on the outside edge and floats rather than being solidly screwed down on its entire length, you have a Power Gear SlimRack.

If it's a SlimRack, once it stops on the way out, release the button and press it again. If it goes all the way out, repeat that process and hold the button down until the noise stops and you hear a click from the motors. Then do that one more time. You will not force the slide through the wall.

When retracting, do the same "hold until it stops making noise and clicks". That may take five seconds.

That process resets the slide stops.

Give it a few minutes to cool the motors and see if it goes all the way out and all the way in. Always hold the button until the slide stops, not when you think it's out or in.

Anything fall behind the slide flange where it seats against the wall?

You wouldn't be the first a dog's toy or some other knick-knack got in the way of a slide fully extending.

Usually the "tubular" wall seals on the inside and outside should be compressed about 50%, not fully squashed and not just barely touching.

The procedure is actually written out in the link under the removed video. I had not even clicked on the video :-)
