Dexron VI is backwards compatible with Dexron III, but Dexron III or brand equivilant should not be used in an application that requires Dexron VI.

So what your saying is that I have Dexron 111 in my system now and you can mix that with Dexron V1? I thought that you canít mix synthetic with something else because that is what Dexron V1 is.

Dexron VI can be added in any proportion to Dexron III

Yep, just use the cheapest dex vi or equivalent you can find. The hydraulic systems in RVs have very little demand on them, so no use wasting $$$ on expensive ATF fluids.
