Hydrolic Cylinder Ram or Plastic Slide Bearings

Hi,

2017 Micro Lite 25BRDS. How do I know if my slide out operates using hydrolic cylinder rams or plastic slide bearings? I ask because I want to spray on dry lube protectant made by ProtectAll and it states to not use if it has.

Thanks

You have neither of these so the lube is ok. Clean and lube the electric ram/piston as well as the metal tracks and gears on the bottom. I had the EVO and this is what I did with dry lube once to twice a year

Okay. But I have to ask because I have heard. Do any of these slide outs never need to be lubricated? Are any self lubricated? No maintenance type? Thanks.

I cant say for sure, I dont really know, but I personally haven't heard of any being self lubricating. There may be some out there, I just dont know about them.

If it helps/piece of mind snap a pic of your gears and mechanisms and we/I can say for sure. I have never seen a Micro Lite in person, Im just assuming that it is like my old EVO

Don't let that throw you off, more then likely if you look under the slide when open you will see a tooth bar and a sprocket. That is the lippert Machanical System. That system has to lubricated with a dry lube. If you have the system where you see a metal strip on the two sides, that is a schwintec system, do not lube that one. I hope this helps really didn't mean to throw you off...
