Intermittent Slide Operation

We own a 2015 Wildcat 323RBX. Recently the bunkhouse slide would stop operating as we were retracting or extending the slide. We would wait a couple of seconds, the resume retracting or extending the slide till the operation was complete. Then, it quit working altogether. I checked amperage at the fuse, switch, and at the motor and all was 12v or better. The fuse was also good. I figured the motor had burned out and was able to replace it. The slide was operating again but with the same stop/start type of operation. I found that there was a cable loose and snugged it up but the stop/start operation continues. I tried looking for adjustment videos online but none exactly match the type of cable system on the slide. Any help would be appreciated.

I would wager a bad electrical connection 12 v somewhere by the motor .

I would look at the auto reset fuse(s) and charge status of batteries.
If the action stops, and then can resume after a few seconds, it could be the auto reset fuse tripping, and then resetting. They do this when there is low power due to bad connections or low battery. They can also just wear out over time. I've replaced all of mine (auto reset and resettable fuses) over time.

I tested the battery with the slide running. It showed 13.62 before running the slide and 12 while the slide was operating. Then tested amps at motor. With the motor running it’s around 9.5. When the motor quits, it jumps back up to 13.62

The 13+ is your converter charging the battery. You might have your batteries load tested individually just to be sure they are still good.

Looks looks like you've got the trailer plugged into shore power. Unplug it and then run the slide out on just the battery. And test the battery without being plugged into shore power.

Tested the battery without being plugged into the shore power and it tested low, less than 7 volts. Got a new battery and the problem persists.
