Kitchen "Unit" pulling away from the Slide Wall

Greetings all,

The screws that hold the kitchen to the wall in a Rockwood Ultra Light 2601ss are pulling out and I have tried to drive them back in, and based on talking to a tech at Camping World, he thinks the studs where missed when it was put together. IF this is the case, I am disappointed in the quality of the trailer which had a leak in the cargo area requiring that I remove the carpet but that is a different discussion.

Here is what I am thinking and I need your thought, use a stud locator for metal find the studs, try and lift the kitchen unit up so it tilts to the wall or take pressure off the the screws, then drill starter holes and try to remount the kitchen to the wall.

I am thinking to remove the sink in order to take more weight off and to have easier access to where the screws are located. Of course I don't darn try to remove the oven/stove combo, at least if I don't have to.

See the attached photos, again, suggestions, or do I have a good plan?

Thanks,
Dennis

I have a similar problem with my Canyon Cat...but it is the dinette/couch slide that is pulling away from slide wall when closed. When slide is open, back of dinette seat returns flush to slide wall I waiting for an appointment with dealership.

The backup isn't always studs. They often use sheet metal "backer plates" where screws are used with course threads. These are glued in with other wall laminate components. Much stronger than the inboard wood sheathing.
