Both sets of my Lippert stab jacks will adjust to the terrain, but once the load is on them they do not shift under the trailer. It appears that the slides were extended and then the trailer stabilizers deployed. As has been pointed out numerous times, they are stabilizing jacks, not leveling jacks.

I have no problem with the front-to-back level, just side-to-side. Does anyone else have this problem? Suggestions please. Thanks.

They do make jacks for the side outs.

Which will destroy a slide out if you happen to have tires go flat or sink in the ground. DO NOT USE SLIDE JACKS! even if they are free.(which they are not)

Stand jacks can be used but not recommended, they can damage your TT slide frame.

I will check the side to side before I disconnect the trailer. It might say level. I found out with my unit that had two slide on the same side would always be off so I would just use my 4 ft 2x8 and run up on this. Once disconnected from TV I would then finish setting up and and all would be level. Later RJD

My wife and I have a 2000 FR Sierra FKSS 30ft tt that we bought 5 years ago. The slide is hydraulic and we have not had any problems with it-or anything else for that matter-knock on wood. I would love to get a Windjammer 3008 some day, but it scares me to spend that much with all the problems I read about. I also set up with the non slide side a little lower before putting the stabilizer jacks down and then putting the slide out. However with my manual jacks I can use them to level some as needed and have very little movement when walking inside.

hondo; You should look at the V-lites as so fsr I've owned two and have had very few warranty repairs. First one was the 30WIKSS which I think is same floor plan as the 3008. With some of the wall cracking issues on the Widjammer I'm glade I did not buy the second time around. Trailers are almost Identical so why the issues guess where they are made. Later RJD

Would it be safe to use these jacks under the TT frame itself on the slide side? We have been leveling with the slide high but after a day or two it seems to drift down.
