Lipper Components Hydraulic Pump P/N: 211166

Hello everyone;

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone on this forum for being great sports on helping me with any issues I've had in the past.

To the point, I've got a leaky pump and its coming from in between the reservoir and the pump. I've check it myself.
Called Lipper Components about this pump (just this morning) and they tell me they don't sell parts like O-rings and seals, and they told me that I need to replace my pump which is like 2500 dollars.

Of course I find it hard to believe that there are no parts for this thing.

So, I'm asking if anyone knows where to get parts as I have exhausted my means on the web and can't find anything. I've found some new reservoirs for sale with 0-ring but its for a different hydraulic pump (part number).

I just read your note as I was searching for an asnwer for the same problem with my Lippert pump. Don't know if we have the same part number yet but I suspect it will be the same. It looks like our cure might be a $2.50 bucket instead of a new pump. I will start searching also maybe we can find the cure. Wonder if they have a stop leak for hydraulic fluuid? :^)
Just had another thought. Since it's leaking at the seal around the oil tank it shouldn't be under pressure so some kind of sealant goop might hold it.? Also if the tank can be taken apart auto stores sell gasket material and we could make our own seal.

I decided to do the hard work and took the reservoir apart and went to my local hydraulic shop and bought me an o ring. I cleaned everything and put back together and thank God, no problems or leaks so far. I am very thankful i can still do alot of the work and I am pretty sure i saved alot of money by doing it myself.

I've cycled the slideout and jacks and no leaks so far. Thank you for the response!

That's a good idea. There are only 4 bolts that hold mine on and I tightened mine up and added oil. Haven't cycled it yet to see if it will hold. Leaving for a hunting trip this week and will see what happens but will use your idea for the o ring when I get back if it still is leaking.
