Loose cable

I just had the motor and gear box replace at the dealer on my 2019 Vibe 24 rls
Now I have loose cables
When the slide is out my left lower cable is loose
When the slide is in my right top and lower cables are loose
My question is how tight are the cables suppose to be
And how to adjust them
Also when the slide is out the cables except for the lower left are very tight I mean tight

Loose cable

The slide mechanism in the bedroom slide-out of my 2015 Wildcat is very similar. I assume yours is a newer design. Mine is made by BAL - the same company that fabricated my frame. Some of the cables pull the slide out - some pull in. If the cables are not pulling at the moment, they are loose. No problem. My pictures were taken when my slide was totally IN. Pics halfway in/out would have shown different cables loose.

Mr. Dan you are lucky. I have the same RV and my bedroom slide cables are on the bottom of the slide. A real PITA for access, repair and adjustments.

I remember your saying that before! Bummer. Both are 2015s but they are different colors also - so I know they made some changes mid-year. I'm happy mine are on top but I haven't had any problems with my system.
