Pump runs, nothing moves

I have a 99 Cardinal with two slides, was a gift from the in laws. Pulled it up from Fl to NY, and no problems in and out many times. Not I have them out at home, and they will not retract back in? Fluid was extremely low, filled that up with Transmission fluid. Pump seems to run. Is there a way to maybe bleed the air out? or prime the pump?
