Reverse polarity blown

We just bought a 2015 Cherokee 294bh. Everything was working and then Since my husband by accident reversed polarity on our battery we can’t open our slide or use the stereo. When we pull the fuse out it doesn’t turn red to show the connection is broken. Does anyone have any ideas?

I believe there is a fuse inline with the slide power lead. At least there is with mine and it's underneath. Different vehicles so the best way to find it would be to follow wire from seitch towards battery.

My Stereo also has an inline fuse that is accessed by pulling the stereo out of where it's mounted.

These inline fuses are like little Easter Eggs you hsve to search for.

You have fuses in the inverter to protect from reverse polarity. Replace the fuses and charge the batteries.
