I have a 2017 Forest River Sierra Fifth Wheel. The 1" to 2" rubber flaps that run up and down the slides on the inside and outsides have come off. Looks like over the last few years the slides coming in and out have broke off the rubber pieces.
My question is does the slides have to come out to repair this? If so I bet that will cripple the old wallet.

Absolutely they can be changed without taking slides off. The top gets a little tricky if you have slide toppers but can be done. Did this on my old 5ver

I forgot that we have a Forest River dealer close by. I went down and talked to the Owner/tech and said he could have the rubber flaps within a week. He says it was not that bad to replace. I am most likely going to do that next week.

Thank you folks for the responses.
Post back how the install goes please.

Can anyone recommend a place to purchase new rubber seals? They are ripped from the channel on both sides of our slide. We have been trying since June 1st to get a return phone call from our dealer. I contacted FR and they were no help. The guy suggested we contact the dealer even after I told him they wouldn't return phone calls. So frustrating.
