Rubber seal conditioner suggestions

Just paid for new rubber seals to be installed on my 2017 Sierra HT 3350BH. Of course I want them to get as much life as possible. Do any of you guys suggest a rubber conditioner over another?

303 Protectant. My go-to choice for many, many years with many R/Vs.

Some rubber seal manufacturers also recommend baby powder but I didn't care for the results.

Another vote for 303 protectant. Great stuff for anything rubber including tires.

hello. I have a new 5'er 2 slides. was thinking of this other day. I looked online at the 303. 5 Stars. But they say you have to apply abt every 3 weeks or so. How often do you apply it?
I live in Florida so most yr it gets really hot. an rubber / heat don't really mix well.

Only one of us in our fairly large camping group has ever used any type of slide seal conditioner. He replaced all his seals after about 4 years, long before the rest of us. Was he just unlucky or was it the conditioner he used?
I replaced my outer seals at 7 years and will replace some of my inner slide seals later this year that are 11 years old. And that is in the harsh SW sun.
Draw your own conclusions......

I've been using 3-in-one RV Rubber conditioner for a couple of years and it seems to be keeping them soft and pliable. Is it extending their life or am I wasting my time and money I really don't know but my opinion is it's working well.

Twice a year.

Not sure where the every 3 weeks comes from?

303 twice a year. Buy the gallon size on amazon and fill a smaller spray bottle.

3-M rubber conditioner or 100% silicone gel. Everything else breaks down and either forms acid or becomes a gooey adhesive.

I've use 303 Aerospace Protectant (30308), over the years, with good success. Follow the instructions on the bottle. If you apply it like Armor All you will be disappointed.

I have used 3 in One conditioner on my seals and believe that it has helped to keep them more pliable. Been using the brand for two years now.

Baby Powder used to be Talc based and Talc has been used in the tire industry to keep things like tubes from sticking to insides of tires.

Today Baby Powder is talc free and often uses cornstarch or similar substance.

Itoo am a 303 fan.
