Schwintek slide alignment

I am trying to realign the Schwintek Slide on our Columbus 383fb....one end lacks about an inch drawing up tight when it's closed.....I've gone through the procedure that Schwintek recommends...open the slide out .... bring it back in 8-10 inches and repeat that a minimum of 3-4 times....that is suppose to synchronize the two motors and bring the slide in evenly....it's not happening...so, is there anything wrong with disengaging the motor on the end that's not coming in, manually push the slide in about an inch on that end, and then re-engaging the motor?....comments from those with this type slide experience would be appreciated.

You can do that . real pain to get to the motors sometimes . i would try to do opposite what your doing fully retract the slide then out 6" to 8 " and back in this normally works .

Solved my slide problem.....found a TV/Cable wire wedged up under the floor of the slide...it had somehow gotten up under the slide track and was restricting the slide from pulling all the way in on the lower right corner.

Glad it was an easy fix.
