Schwintek slide out caulking

While doing some maintenance on the camper I found that the "caulking" at the bottom outside corners of the schwintek slide is dried out and chipping. It appears to be different than the dicor as it is not flexible at all when probed. Anybody know what product I need to replace this?

I'm not sure what to replace with but I do have a question-have you had any problems with your slide out leaking? Mine was leaking on one side. Had it fixed at the dealership with the Forest River techs help but now it's leaking again. Guess it was a known problem. I just keep a bucket underneath but it's still aggravating. Thanks!

I talked to the staff at our local Camping World and they advised to use good old 100% pure silicone. I'm going to talk with another local shop this week before trying that.

I've never had the slides leak in my camper. When we first got it there were leaks at the entry door and at the shower skylight. Both were fixed under warranty and haven't leaked since.

Do you have side toppers by chance? We do and it helps keep the top seal protected from large amounts of standing water.

Talked to our local RV shop and they recommended Dyco 2020 caulk. The caulk is a rubberized co-polymer. It has a short working time but was easy to smooth with a wet finger tip. It set up and dried quickly.

It is available on Amazon but was about half the price at the dealership.
