I would agree that is seems as though Swinteck slides are not appropriate for big and heavy or full-wall slides. Early in the days of the 3051 models with full slides, failures were common. The dealer I bought my 3100 from politely called the design “ under-engineered”. No heavy or full-wall Swintecks for me….

So I had slide issues in my FR Class A Georgetown for over a year. It wouldn't deploy. In the end FR sent a tech to the dealer. They tried replacing everything and decided to take everything off the slide. Coincidentally the first item to be removed was an L-shape coach with a recliner at one end. As the tech was down reaching in to unbolt it he noticed that it was touching the floor and was dragging the coach. This was only on one side of the slide which was also the side having the issue. They shimmed it up about a half or more problem solved. Yup over a year and a half and not only in the shop a lot but stuck in my yard when I was lucky to get it out it wouldn't come back in. Glad the dealer nor FR gave up but nonetheless frustrating bc along with that and other issues it spent majority part of the first 2 yrs in the shop or waiting.
