Schwintek slide - water seeping from under metal edge

Water is seeping out from the bottom edge of the Schwintek slide when it rains. It may be coming in from where the rubber is cut around the rail.

Does anyone have a suggestion? Has anyone experienced this as well?

At a loss at to what to do. I covered the rail with tape and sprayed water down the side but water is still seeping out from under the bottom

Any help really appreciated.
