Sierra Slide Issue

New Owner of a 2012 Sierra 32QBBS. The hydraulic slides only have one switch to operate 2 slides. The dealer said that the smaller slide (bedroom) will extend or retract first then the larger slide (Living room) will extend or retract nest. The first day everything worked fine. The second day when you push the swith both slides move together for about 6 inches then the smaller slide stops and the larger slide extends or retracts first then the smaller slide starts. Both slides extend and retract completly, but not how the dealer said they would. Is this fine or is there a problem? I called the dealer and they said as long as it works everything is fine. Any help would be great to give me pease of mind.

in hydraulics running two different operations there will most certainly be a difference in the way it works .
the one with least resistance will or should always move first then the other .
you may find that they will move at different times everytime you do it .
i have a non related piece of equipement that has hydraulic jacks that do the same thing move at different times or even somtimes.

Thanks, I didn't know if this is a problem or if it is common. My last camper only had one hydraulic slide. I will keep an eye on it and see if it changes back.

Thanks Again.

Common. Nothing to worry about. The one with the least resistance will move first, usually the small one. Depends on temp, level, alignment of the moon,......(only kidding)
The pump just makes pressure to both slides at the same time. The slides will eventually go out and be fine.
