Slid Out!
I have a FR Ultra-Lite travel trailer..2011. The other day I had my RV techs come out and check out a couple lights that wouldn't come on. Blown Fuse! The slide out was extended at the time. Before the techs left I had one worker bring the slide out in. (Note: Battery was charged). This evening I went to take our trash out and noticed the slide out was OUT. No one has been in it since the techs left. No lights, nothing. I got my new battery charger and hooked it up to my 5 month old battery. The charger turned on and immediately turned off.
I pushed the voltage button and nothing! Has anyone had a slide out that slid out on it's own. To start with I am taking the battery back to the auto parts store. I messaged the present tech boss and they will come out when they can.
Always something isn't it.
BTW, I'm a newbee here. Name is Ed and live in Galveston County Texas.
75 y/o Disabled Marine (66'- ). Looking forward to some great info on this forum.

You need to post brand and model number of the trailer. Forest River is the corporate name. FR has numerous divisions that make an ultralight trailer. And they use different different types of slideout systems.
Or put that information in your profile or signature.

OK, sounds like you mean RockWOOD. But 23'4" isn't the model number, just the length. RV information is based on year, brand and model number, not on length. It also allows those that own the same model number, to be more helpful.

Damn. Thank you for your Service! Wish we were in TX to help get you up! I don't think I've got anyone with any knowledge in the Huston area. Hydraulic systems can do this with a leak. With or without issues with the batteries. Again, wish we were out there to take a peek.

Don't think the OP's trailer has hydraulic slideouts, just electric. Not aware of any Rockwood TTs with hydraulic slideout systems.

Yikes - that doesn't sound like much fun. Quick question - the fuse that the tech replaced - is it still good or did it by chance blow again? If it is blown again, the two issues may be related and may be a sign of an electrical short or mis-wired system.
Also - how confident are you that nobody could have gone into the TT and extended the slide without your knowledge?
Interested to see how this turns out!
Pete

In 2011, there only was a 2304, no S model:

V-bottom, is this your trailer?

Apparently the 'S' means "Slide" which the OP is posting about.
