Slide floor dropping

I have a 2016 cedar creek 29ik 5th wheel. I notice the floor for the living room slide(couch side of slide) has dropped about 1/4 of inch and the screws for outside wall have broken or come detached. Slide still comes in and out but was wondering how the floor attaches to the aluminum bean that is at base of wall. Or it screwed or glued or both.

This seems to be a recurring issue as of late. Several post recently with this same issue. Our 2016 33IK had same problem. I would recommend you check to make sure the slide out floor is not water damaged along the exterior edge, right below the metal drip edge that runs along the bottom of the slide. The black dacor material once used and scuffed is allowing water to soak thru and this causes the floor to weaken. While doing repairs to our floor I discovered that, (believe it or not) the only thing holding the slide walls to the floor were those small #10 screws that went thru the metal drip edge. I ran 2 inch self tapping flat head screws up from the bottom into the aluminum slide wall bottom frame on both of our slides. I then sealed the heads with caulk. To complete the repair I installed what Forest River calls slide skies. They are plastic and go up under the fiberglass edge and extend under the floor, this serves as a waterproof drip edge and stops the dacor water issue.

Really hope your problem is just broken screws. Good luck. Please let us know how you make out.

Thanks that what I assumed I called a local tech. Here
in spring branch Texas we both checked the floor no water damage. I had keep the screws and the side of the floor covered with etrabond tap. The tech recommended the same fix you suggested so just waiting for the plastic skids. Thanks your info. Reassured us of the RV tech's Recommended Fix.

By the way the first year we owned the rig I noticed the material underneath wearing so I had a RV dealership in Foley Alabama put the plastic skids on did a terrible job did not screw the sidewalls back in place right both had to be cut out within 6 months. They relied on the self stick. I think that's were my issues started. Oh well live and learn. Lol. Thanks again for your reply.
