Slide has no manual operation for in/out. ???

Hi,
When I bought my 2014 Wildwood Rkss, i was told it didn't have a manual way to extend or retract the slide. Anybody know how I would handle that in a pinch as if it was stuck in the out position with say a bad motor?
Any Ideas?

It would depend on the "type" of slide mechanism you are talking about. Post the type of slide system you have and I'm sure you'll get some input.

If its a Schwintek, for example, you disconnect the motors and then push it in or out.

Does it have top and bottom rails on the side of the slide box that look like these:

I can't say for sure but most wildwoods have the LCI slide that runs on a sprocket. If you look underneath and see a tooth bar that is what you have, if it is an LCI then you will see a whole on each slide that a crank fits in and you can bring it in or out. If it is not what was shown you have an accuslide, then you should have got a 12" extension that fits on the motor end and use your drill to do it. We need to know what slide you have first, then someone can really help you....

Do you have the 29RKSS or the 27RKSS?
Not that it matters, I'm just curious.

You have the LCI electric thru-frame slide mechanism.

Here is a copy of the LCI Electric Thru-frame Slide Manual. The manual operation is on pages 16 & 17.

If this is your trailer then most likely you have the LCI electric underfloor mechanism...see attached.

Our bedroom slide does not have access from the outside to crank it open or closed like the two larger slides. And this slide has not retracted a few times. I had to remove the mattress, remove the decking (this model does not have a lift type deck with storage underneath, and then use a socket and ratchet to turn the motor. I must have a "dead" spot in the windings on the motor because once I turn it slightly, the electrical swith works. But it is a PITA to have to take the whole bed apart to do this.
