Slide Out Ceiling Construction

Hi. I have to run a new wire to feed the lights in a slide out (2012 Sandpiper 365RL) to deal with a short in the original wires. I need to hide the new wire under the ceiling paneling if at all possible. My question concerns the way the ceiling panel is installed. Is it pre-assembled/glued to rigid insulation or framing, or is it nailed in place? I would like to get access to the area above the panel so that I can hide the wire. Any information or suggestions on the construction most welcome. Thanks.
