Question slide out doesnt work 2006 salem le 37bhss

We just bought this camper this year, i used it 2 times and now the slide doesnt work. I hit the switch today, and it started to come back in,but I stopped it to move a broom that was in the way, and when I went to put it the rest of the way in,nothing! Its like it just quit working. I do have power to the motor, but it doesnt even make any noise when I hit the switch. ANY IDEAS? would try about anything at this point. Should I expect the dealer to fix this for me since I just bought it and only used it 2 times? It is a 2006.

Hi fishfrey. I had a similar problem with my Flagstaff v lite, and my slides hanve the electric motors, assumably like yours(non hydraulic.) Under the tongue right along the frame area, you will see 2 green plastic housings that hold 30 amp fuses- one for each slide out- mine has 2. I had installed a cigar lighter 12v receptacle, and got my power from the switch- and accidentally touched the wires together to blow the fuse. That is most likely the problem, if the broom put a strain on the motor, the fuse probably tripped. GOOD LUCK!! Randy

Thanks for the reply randy, but the broom didnt put any strain on the motor, as I moved it before it came in. I will check for fuses though.

I'm having a similar issue but mine is with the pins on the drive it's self that all of a sudden are shearing off, look under the slide to see that the shafts are turning when moving the slide.
