Slide out issues

I just purchased a 2000 Forest River Cedar Creek. The only other thing I know about the model is its a 5th wheel. It's stationary and the slide is in that has the couch and table. I can't get the slide out. I just purchased a new battery, still no luck! When I push the button for in or out there is no sound or any movement. Is there anyway to do this manually??? I've looked at other forums about there being a option to put a drill at the end of the hydraulic pump. But mine doesn't have any opening there. I'M LOST

Is there any fuses that might be blown?
Have you tried it with the trailer plugged in to 110 power?

All the fuses are good and it is plugged in too. Everything else works electronically but the slide. I'm just wondering if there's some manual way to get it out.

Are you sure you're pushing the correct "button"? Our 2012 Silverback has "rocker" type switches for the slide, but with you having a 2000 model, perhaps they are buttons. You might have to pull whatever type out and do a continuity check to make sure they are operating correctly. If they are, you need to check wiring and connections.

I believe almost all FW's have a provision for manually extending/retracting an inoperative slide (s). Get your FW VIN ( it should be on a placard usually located on the drivers side toward the front) and call your FW guy or dealer. They should be able to assist you.
