Slide out issues continue!
This is my first Motor Home with slide outs. It is a
new FR3 28DS. I leveled the MH with the auto
leveling system and tried to open the side slide out
of the dinning table and kitchen. the top cable on
the right side behind the drivers seat broke.
I have noticed that the auto leveling system could
be part of the problem.
I have noticed that if the bathroom door will not
close or open and connect to the wall mount that
holds the door open it means the MH is not
correctly level. The slide outs openings are tight
will little clearance to help keep the slide out water
tight. If the RV or MH is not completely level the
slide outs will bind and not move. Before I move
my slide outs I make sure that the bathroom door
opens and closed correctly. A simple test before
trying to open the slide outs. Give it a try!
