slide out lube

I have a 07 surveyour sv291 wonder how often to lube slide out and how to do it. Use camper about 5 times a year and have owned it for 2 years have never done it? What do you use. Saw dry lube at walmart not sure if good or not. Thanks for the help

I spray mine with a silicone spray about twice a year. I spray the drive gear real good and then down each side of the slide bar.

Watch out you don't spray too much right before closing slide or DW will probably badger you when slide is reopened and you got streaks on the carpet under the slides.

Protect all Dry Slide Lube - use once a year. You can find it at RV stores or several places on the net. Use the rubber seal treatment as well.

Product Information - Protect All

How are their other products and is their shipping reasonable?

Camco makes a slide lube and is available at walmart. It smells a lot like wd40.

There are a lot of sites that carry it. Some have fair shipping costs, some don't. If that's the only thing you’re going to buy it's probably going to be less expensive to get it at the local camper store. I use the lube and seal treatment. It's good quality product. My unit sat in the Texas sun for about 1.5 years uncovered. The seals had weathered bad from the UV. I washed them and then lathered on the rubber seal treatment. It made a major difference. They're soft, supple, flexible, etc.
