Slide out makes a clunking noise

I have a Cherokee Arctic Wolf. The wardrobe slider makes a clunking sound when it goes out. When it gets to the fully extended position the clunking noise is quite loud.
Any suggestions?

That may be the clutch on the slide operator slipping when it make full travel my main slide does that.

When the slide reaches the end of travel either going out or in and you hear the ratcheting sound thats the signal to release the switch and is normal.

Sound is normal. Will happen when fully extended and when fully pulled in. Just don’t keep pushing the button.
Dealer should have covered with you.

Does the slide go out and come back in smoothly without any hesitation? IMHO even if the noise is only happening when deploying there still could be binding someplace causing it to skip some of the teeth on the gear drive. Check to see if when retracted whether it is firmly up against the wall of the your RV with the seal properly seated.

If it is making the clunking as it is going in and out and not just at the stops in either direction, there is an issue. Only clunking you should ever hear is possibly at the full out or full in position and then as others have said release the button on the first clunk.

If it is clunking while moving in or out then you could have a gear slipping, a chain skipping if it is chain drive, what ever it is, it will only get worse.

Slide out makes a clunking noise

I'm following your post. This weekend the wardrobe slide on our 2018 Arctic Wolf made a loud noise when it reached it's full extension. When trying to bring it back in the stopped about half way and we were finally able to get it in. We lubed the cables and were able to run it in and out but it is still making a popping noise as it travels. It is a cable system rather a gear and rail system

Ours was making noise so I lubed it with the special "slide" lube that doesn't attract dirt. Now it only clanks when at its limits. Might try lubing.
